Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out one sheet of puff pastry on a floured surface.
- Spread Nutella evenly over the pastry, leaving a small border.
- Place the second sheet of puff pastry on top and press gently to seal.
- Cut into 1-inch wide strips.
- Twist each strip several times and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sugar if desired.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, sprinkle with powdered sugar or drizzle with melted chocolate before serving.
