- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with foil. Place a wire rack on top and grease lightly.
- Season wings with salt and pepper and arrange in a single layer on the rack.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crisp.
- In a saucepan, combine pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, ketchup, vinegar, garlic, ginger, and chili flakes.
- Bring to a simmer. Mix cornstarch and water, then whisk into sauce and cook until thickened.
- Toss baked wings in glaze until fully coated.
- Return wings to rack and bake for 10 minutes until sticky and caramelized.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds and serve immediately.
Notes
Pat wings completely dry before baking for maximum crispiness. Always use a wire rack to allow air circulation. Do not skip the second bake — it caramelizes the glaze and locks in flavor. Serve immediately for best texture.
